Fredenstein Professional Audio
The Company Fredenstein Professional Audio was foundet by Fred Schuckert and has the interesting philosophy to combine classic analog circuit design with digital management. Flagships are the Fairchild-compressor F660 and the micpre F 676. Both units have the original circuit design of their predecessors Fairchild 660/670 and TAB Funkenwerk V76 in the audio path while offering modern reliability and reproducibility due to computer controlled real time adjustments of the tube currents. Even the smaller Fredenstein-units and their API 500 format- modules offer exceptional value for money!
